Dhaka, Apr 5 (UNB) – Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested four killer suspects a BTV programme cameraman Shahidul Islam from Pabna early Friday.
Shahidul was found dead inside his Uttara office in the city on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-1 conducted a drive in the district town of Pabna around 3am and arrested the four -- Raihan, Litu, Ashraf and Amanullah -- in connection with the killing. Later, they were taken to Dhaka at noon.
Shahidul Islam, cameraman of BTV programme ‘Paura Darpan’, was the owner of private firm ‘Media Vision’ located at house No 55, Sector-10 in Uttara.
Locals spotted the body of Shahidul, whose hands and legs were tied, lying on the chair in his office and informed police on Tuesday morning. Later Uttara West thana police recovered the body.
